a little about me...
My hobbies are cooking (and eating), birdwatching, traveling, reading, bicycling and walking (when the weather allows). Also, I enjoy going to the movies and some television- right now I like the Good Wife and Mad Men.
After many years of being in the convention and travel industry I decided to slow down and try library work instead. I am currently working at the College of Lake County library while also going to school to become a Library Technical Assistant (LTA).
I'm married but no kids, but I am a great-aunt to 2 nieces and 2 nephews whom I adore and love to spend time with.
Today, I took two of my co-workers on a little field trip to the Lakeshore campus to see "my" library. It was nice to get out for awhile on such a nice, sunny day. On the way back we stopped for a little lunch, lox sandwich for me :-)
