a little about me...
My hobbies are cooking (and eating), birdwatching, traveling, reading, bicycling and walking (when the weather allows). Also, I enjoy going to the movies and some television- right now I like the Good Wife and Mad Men.
After many years of being in the convention and travel industry I decided to slow down and try library work instead. I am currently working at the College of Lake County library while also going to school to become a Library Technical Assistant (LTA).
I'm married but no kids, but I am a great-aunt to 2 nieces and 2 nephews whom I adore and love to spend time with.
Today I'm working at the Southlake branch of the library in Vernon Hills. It's quiet here, the heating is driving me crazy because it is too loud!! I like having windows - it makes everything so much brighter.
